The Thomas Sugarbush had its start in 1938 when 12 yr old Harry Thomas went to the store to buy a BB gun and saw some sap buckets on sale and purchased them instead. He and his brother made their first batch of syrup that spring at their home on Speedview Farm, north of Guelph. Through the years Harry, now joined by his wife Ruth and their children continued syrup production on their next farm near Holstein, ON. Today the Thomas children and grandchildren proudly carry on the now 82 year tradition started by their parents, producing quality maple products for appreciative customers from the family farm near Priceville, ON.
